Suggestions for paint colors to update exterior?

Looking to paint the wooden siding and trim on our house. Open to the idea of painting the brick as welll (but wondering if that is a trend that will go out of style in the future…thoughts?) I’d like to lighten/brighten it up with colors that are more classic or timeless, but also like the idea of keeping the natural/earthy tones. We also plan to put in a metal roof in the future so suggestions on the color of that would also be helpful! Open to any ideas. Thanks!

    I’m currently crushing on this house with vertical cedar siding. The colors remind me of your house:







    The garages are also cedar, stained darker.

    Obviously a different style home, but I just wanted to show the vertical siding, black metal roof, etc.

    I would not paint your brick. Agree with different posts and freshening up the landscaping. A modern style front door would look great (maybe you’ve already got a nice door, I can’t tell).



    I just saw this … I wouldn’t go with a green quite this vivid, but more of an earthy olive tone:
