Waht is your budget ? It is in my experience hard to suggest what is luxe to someone . I happen to love crisp white bedding not high thread count but 100% cotton and I iron all my bedding so that is luxe to me. Waht is the style of the bedroom ? There are many good bedding stores in Canada I have used the one in Edmonton St Geneve. They are not cheap so be prepared . IMO all bedding in a B&B should be non pilling and always ironed.

Have been looking at pic of hotel style bedroom and all pics seem to show crisp smooth full duvet covers, never any mention of brands.

Luxurious and neutrals are key. Not sure what you mean by moody; usually that is accomplished by an entire room.

You may also want to do some research, to figure out needs around content/durability/softness. That’s how I discovered a bamboo blend, which I love.

Search hotel style bedrooms for the looks but to find brands, you’ll have to search fine bedding Canada. Your budget will be a deciding factor as well.

They can be ironed, but the whole feel is casual, not crisp.

The Bay has a wide selection at different price points. Brian Gluckstein’s line has different quality levels and I was quite happy with the quality, so repurchased over the years. Note the reviews/ratings and read description and care details to be sure they meet your needs. Also watch for sales, as they happen often.

I do not like duvets in a luxe spac ethey look sloppy I love coverlets and if you can afford it hand made matelasses from France I have onwe it is 20 yrs old has been washed a ton of times and still looks like new . I love how it allows for a nice tailored type bed making with a pretty blanket at the foort of the bed for extra warmth if needed . As for the actual style of the space that can be anythingyou like but I would discourage 4 poster beds with curtains around the bed since IMO a nice easy to clean space is a must in a B&B This gray is one of my faves for bedroom decor if luxe is the aim o the one with the white bedding with very soft pattern . I have stayed in many B&Bs all over the place and I love ironed sheets for sure and really quiet space .If I had the money ironed sheets would be on my bed every time I went to sleep. Just no time to do it more than once a week.What do you love when you go to stay in a hotel? IMO do that for your B&B

I wish all your threads were combined into one. I manage vacation rental properties and have been very happy with higher end 100% polyester microfiber sheets. Easy care, no ironing, soft and comfy.

I love pretty, colorful sheets on my own bed at home; I love lifting up the top sheet and crawling into a cave of color every evening ... but when I'm in a hotel, white says "CLEAN"; thus, for your purposes, I agree with going with white.

Oh, and definitely use fitted sheets. I hate when hotels use all flat sheets, and they pull off.

This is opinion, but I think light and bright is more stylish now, and that's probably what most people would prefer. Yes, I like "moody", but in a hotel setting those deep tones could be construed as a way to hide dirt.

I'm fine with duvets, and in a hotel setting I like something that I know can be washed between customers. I think I'm making my thoughts on cleanliness crystal clear here!

Things I enjoy in a hotel:

- Excellent lighting -- I like to read in bed

- Outlets at the nightstand /up high so I don't have to dig to find them

- Good pillows -- two per person

- Quality towels in the bathroom -- nothing small and thin

- A small refrigerator -- this is an absolute necessity

Things that don't rate much love from me:

- Hairdryers

- Alarm clocks -- I don't trust yours, and I have my phone anyway

- Throw pillows -- they're just in the way

USB ports as part of the electric supply at nightstands. I would say 4-6. Most people will have multiple devices.

Have you checked out Simons' Le Germain hotels bedding? Sheets are cotton and bamboo rayon thread. No experience so can't vouch for their quality but Simons does carry quality bedding and home goods. You might find another brand that suits your purposes. Maureen mentioned The Bay and they're having a home sale right now.
