Ikea....1st time to go
Comments (19)Oh Yay!! I am so excited. I am not an Atlanta girl myself - DH does alot of business in N. Atlanta & I always stay home(just not that interested.) This weekend we p/u my DS from his first year at camp in Mentone, AL so I have a good reason to go to Atlanta this week. Teacats =- great idea about stocking up on the basics - my poor candles in lanterns outside have literally dripped to the ground! Tina - I am in W. Tn. Your sunroom sounds lovely (Im thinkin your in E. TN (the pretty part?!) How sweet, Pammyfay, to offer to escort! I would love to go with a friend. I get so sidetracked just in life in general much less with a lot of visual overload!! (maybe I should take an add pill!!) Okay, so meatballs are a MUST!! The lingonberries sound wonderful - esp. over pork, yum. Bumblebeez - I am the same way with PB outlet here in town. I go and very rarely see anything I want. Decent bedding & towels but the furniture is crappy (sorry) but they sure do have pretty magazines!! Wm. Sonoma outlet, on the other hand......pretty good stuff in there! Moccasinlanding - I was just in Mobile leaving for a cruise. We have a very good friend on Dauphin Island - DH & DS have been to see him but I had to stay home. I will let you know how it goes. Camlan - thanks for the description of the store & reminder to bring a reuseable bag. Prairiedawnpam - I'll let you know what color...Im hoping it is more of a sagey green. I;'ll have my laptop with me at the hotel so I'll give everyone an update. Thanks so much! Smiles:)...See MoreSlipcovered IKEA or Crate and Barrel Sofa?
Comments (6)My friend, who has a all the money one needs, is now purchasing 3 more IKEA sofas for her Florida home. That makes a total of six sofas and she loves them. I don’t think C & B quality is that great. Lee Industries used to make the furniture, but that is not the case now. I haven’t used this vendor, yet, but I plan too. It maybe worth a look to see what $1500.00 could buy. I do know that you can actually speak with the owners concerning your needs. https://www.rogerandchris.com/furniture...See MorePillows to go with light green sofa

Comments (0)Received the Finnala sofa yesterday and after 24 hours the back cushions have yet to expand. I called Ikea and they said I need to wait the full 72 hours before they can act (time required to expand per instructions). Considering they have not changed in the last 24 hours I seriously doubt anything is going to happen in the next 48 hours… The associate said the only thing they can do is replace the the cushions and that unfortunately there are no non-vacuum sealed options. Considering all 4 of my cushions are experiencing the same problem, I doubt that the replacements will be any different. Looking at the cushion cover, im a bit concerned regarding the general thickness. im not sure that these cussions can be comfortable. can anyone with this couch comment on the comfort of the back cushions? Has anyone else had this experience? What did you do? im considering ordering custom cushions if the replacements suck. Edit: Saw in a review that someone recommended “40350973” as an ideal replacement. Unfortunately I cannot find anything online or on Ikea that matches this ID. Not sure how to go about finding the cushions this user recommended....See MoreRachel
