Using Rustoleum Tub and Tile paint, do I need 2 coats of STIX primer?

I'm painting my hideous shower tile suround in my bathroom, it's not our main bathroom, only my son uses it for baths sometimes, so I feel it's "safe" considering the lower traffic. I'm using the Rustoleum Tub and Tile paint, but I've poured my heart and soul into the prep! lol. The instructions didn't say I needed to, but I decided to prep with INSL-X STIX primer anyway. Do I need to put 2 coats on? I've read so many different reviews on this topic. I've given it 1 coat, it's fully covered. Is 2 overkill? I already have to wait 24hrs of dry time before using a 2 part paint like the epoxy paint the tub and tile kit is. So I dont want to waste time with a whole other day fo dry time if I don't need to, but having already invested 10+ hrs to the prep, I don't want to screw this up either! My tile isn't shiny to begin with, it's a rougher style and I did sand it with an electric sander first to make it extra grippy. Any help is so appreciated!!!
