I don't know much about pizza but this was interesting, so I searched "cheeseless pizza" and found various recipes. The link below looks like a pretty conventional one, which might be good. If you're only going to make one pizza for miss I-can't-eat-cheese, it should be a pretty "safe" pizza. Just in case she also can't eat anchovies, meat, etc. I figure, there are two ways to handle this person. You can serve them some awful cheese-free cardboard scrap, to just meet your minimal hostess obligations to feed her guests, and hope that she and her food restrictions take the hint and never darken your door again. Or you can embrace her cheese-free existence, make a special effort on her meal, and give her a wonderful and memorable experience. I'm a grouch and would do the former, but you're a good person and will do the latter. So, how about making her her very own personalized pizza with the toppings that she likes, using the linked recipe or a similar one as a base? Please let us know how your pizzas turn out and what you end up doing for the cheese free pizza. I'm getting more into homemade pizza. I've always thought of pizza as high-calorie, unhealthy stuff. Maybe the standard take-out pizza is, I don't really know. But I plugged the dough and sauce recipes we use into a calorie count app, and here's what I came up with. One slice (an eighth slice of a 12 inch diameter pizza) has 110 calories, 5 grams protein, 2 grams fat, 20 grams carbs. That includes mozzarella cheese made from skim milk (3/4 cup per pizza), and plenty of sauce, but no other toppings - this is the "base pizza" if you will. Seems pretty reasonable to me. I just had 610 sq ft of Grand Illusions Cruevo (spelling?) installed and found this website just a day afterward when I was looking for information about the spacing of transitions. The installer recommended that I needed a transition between the kitchen and living room which is an open area with an island separating the two spaces. The entire length is only 35 ft and according to Armstrong's website, a transition is not needed. I have noticed some crackling noises but the installer said that my subfloor was not perfectly level and that Grand Illusions is the only laminate that makes this sound. Right now it isn't too bad and he said it may disappear altogether once it is all settled down. I am majorly concerned about its durability. The installer marred the boards in front of the refrigerator when he moved it (and it has rollers) and he has to come back and replace them. I have spent about $30 on felt pads to go on everything touching the floor and hundreds more on area rugs because I just set a stool on it and it scratched the board, which is way too delicate for what I expected from a laminate. The finish is beautiful but it's like have glass and any fingerprint shows. The pro about this flooring...it is beautiful!

Oh Marcolo, a monopoly house...really? I'd say this resembles the red monopoly house more than what I'm considering I happen to like the modern farmhouse style, I get not everyone does. And I'm guessing it is the attached three car garage most of you naysayers take issue with. The thing is, we need a three car garage and I fail to see the logic behind moving to an inconvenient location in an attempt to pretend it doesn't exist. Michou: I took a look at the Howard Bracken link and his homes are beautiful. Really perfect for a gorgeous napa location. I'm not sure how well it would translate for my rainy climate or our specific floorplan needs, but I like a lot of the elements he uses. Oakley: I have searched for farmhouses and the problem I run into is that there aren't as many existing floorplans in the 3,500 + sq ft range, plus I'm looking for a fairly specific layout (formal dining, master on main, non-open kitchen, kids room upstairs and attached garage). Also, most farmhouse plans seem to have large porches often wrap arounds. Here in the PNW we are sunlight deprived enough, so I don't need a porch other than a small one to shelter the front door and maybe a small one to grill under off the back of the house. The original elevation of the house is nice, but to me it looks like a nice version of many builder homes out here and it has a French country sort of look or something. I do think it's pretty but its not really "me". I prefer the fresher look of a modern farmhouse. To adapt it too our woodsy setting we will have some cabin-like and maybe even craftsman inspired details, but overall I want to keep it clean and simple. Here are some other modern farmhouses/ modern cabins. I wonder if those in the dislike camp do not care for these either, or if it's just the house I'm considering? I don't think this is all that different

C'mon, everyone was supposed to vote for #1's!? LOL j/k. Sorry took me awhile to get back, kids have been sick so took me awhile. Appreciate all the comments/suggestions. A few of you have me seriously thinking about the "too much going on thing" on the base of table one. I can see how with chair legs and the wainscotting that it it could be look like a beavers damn down below. All of the chairs shown do come in sidechairs. I just grabbed the endchairs, but would definitely go without arms on the sides. Between tables 2 and 3, I think I like 3 better. I looked at the detail/top view of table 2 and it's got some funky curves/corners on the actual table top itself. Table 3 is from the Kings Row collection of Hickory White, as is the sideboard. Normally, I'm far from wanting anything ornate, but for some reason I kinda like the sideboard with the feet. As a few folks have noted, it would definitely need to be flanked with substantial lamps or sconces and a hefty painting or mirrior. (haven't gotten that far yet). I do like the chairs les suggested (Terri's), but the wood on Table 3 is darker and I'm not sure how the lighter wood of the chairs would contrast with the table. I'm not a fan of our lighter floors, so wanted to go with a darker wood as opposed to blending. Suppose we could do table 3, with chair 2 (sidechairs) and figure something out on the ends. I need to price table 3 and chair 2, but table 1 was $2400 and chair 1 was $510, I think the others are going down in price which is good. The buffet in the room right now is a dresser that will disappear when we get furniture. (my head is spinning). Our initial choice was going to be the following, but have heard not so great things about Bernhardt furniture quality. Also, Im not a huge fan of the rings on the legs of the table/chairs. or the scrolls on the sideboard feet, but it was liveable. I think table 3 and chair two (way top above) probably dress this room better. Any suggestions...I need therapy! Have looked at most every maker and can't make a lousy decision. Where's premier?...tell me "whats up" lol. (looking for the dining room wrecking ball)
