If you had a 'jumping-off-point' such as a patterned fabric, rug, or even a piece of art it might be easier for you to choose a color. Really almost any color goes with brown tones. I have a lot of brown in my home and have used red, sage green, pale yellow, gold, lime green, blue, cream, dusty rose, for walls and/or accents at various times. All shades of turquoise from pale robin's egg blue to teal work well with browns. I've seen some amazing rooms using pale pink with browns. Shutters are too small for the windows and I think they don’t add much. My suggestion is the paint the house all bright white…B.M.Super White. Leave the brick as is and paint the door B.M. Somerville Red. I woud most definitely power wash the roof (carefully).

Gray with darker gray trim or even black trim would look good. What is your budget? Does it allow for a new garage door? I agree with going with the MCM vibe. The gray would probably need to be a warmer gray so it doesn't fight with the brick. Big props to Flo! Those colors look great. You will be very disappointed if you do white. The weathered wood roof seems like a safe choice, and you really don't want to worry about a leaky roof. Depending on what those big shrubs are, you may be able to severely prune them, but not right before winter, or the new growth won't have time to harden off. Fall is a great time for new plantings, so their roots can grow over the winter.
