What color Walnut Cabinets? What color flooring? What color walls? What style cabinets?

Is your vanity, or at least a sample, with you? If yes, you can go to a paint store and try ia drawer or door from it under different lighting conditions. They often have a variety of ”temperatures” of light to hold it under. Have you chosen your bathroom lighting yet? Often, you can chose what Kelvin number to get for bulbs. Look up an article on light warmth and coolness. You will see discussions that mention 3000k or 4500k light ”colors.” Once you figure out what color lighting will be in the room, hold the drawer, tile, and paint samples under that temperature of lightbulb when you choose your paint. Or, you could hire an interior decorator to assist you with the decisions you have to make. You usually start with one item that you really love, then make sure that each thing you get ”goes with” that item and the others. If you have the vanity picked out for certain, then decide on the next most difficult thing to match, like wall tile. Choose one that looks good with the first item. Then, the next most difficult item, like floor tile. You just keep adding things that match until you get to the paint, which can be done in an infinite variety of colors. If you want distinctive art or accessories, pick them early in the process.

I hate to see people spend money to replace what is the ;eat offensive issue. If you love that pink good for you but IMO it is horrible . I would like to hesr form the OP He wants to replace the flooring for god's sake how can that be done without dealing with the rest. IMO the floor is the only thing worth keeping. I need to understand what his plan is . I respect that people can't afford big changes but flooring is abig change to wnat ot do with a ton of really dated stuff. We are looking to update the flooring in our game room and hallway with engineered wood. Our walls are ivory lace. Any suggestions on wood colors? We would like to stay away from very dark and very light tones
