Bathroom design ideas!! I cannot decide on a color scheme please help!
Comments (4)Painting only the wall cabinet will make it jump out. You really need to spread color around. Don't paint until you have selected your rug, towels and accessories. It's easier to match paint to accessories than the other way around. What is your favorite color. That is the place to start. The rug is the largest splash of color. I don't see where you will place towels so I can't tell how much of an impact they will make. You can spread some color via a soap dish, lotion dispenser, etc. Houzz has [SOME[(https://www.houzz.com/products/prbr6-br~t_13009~a_77-582-585-3249-3253-12976-13174?fi=36), but you can probably find many more in local stores....See MoreHelp with paint colors on starter home exterior please!!
Comments (3)First of all, I would not paint the brick. You take a zero maintenance product and turn it into a long term maintenance issue. Plus I think your brick looks fine and you can use some colors to tie everything together. My first thought would be a gray since I see that color in your brick. However, I think it needs to be a warmer gray since you already have the brown stained columns. You have all single windows so shutters would work. Just make sure that the width of each shutter is half the width of the window so, if operable, when closed they would cover the entire window. I would pick a color for the front door that was different from the trim and shutters (if added) to make it a focal point for the house. Comments (4)I would leave the brick, its very nice, but, try and paint the garage and the garage door, a color very close to the brick, so that the garage blends in with the house like the other side of the house. Right now, the garage looks like it is tacked on. I do like the shutters on those top two windows. You could use the sage green, or other color on the top half, but, bottom floor of the house, needs to all blend together....See MoreShannon
