best looking artificial trees

Can anyone tell me, which manufactures makes the most realistic looking artificial trees. I need all sizes up to 10' tall different type of trees.

Oops, 5000K is not a brand, but a color temperature. Let's start over. Take a look at some color temperature information at other web sites. Pictures can help. Incandescent are really quite yellow and have a color temp between 2700 and 3300K. Horizon daylight is about 5000K and overcast skylight is about 6500K. They look quite blue when you put them next to a more common fluorescent that falls between incandescent and daylight. If you are doing things that require good color judgement in there, you want a high CRI. You can look at it as a measure of the richness of the color spectrum. CRI is what, among other things, allows you to easily tell the difference between black and blue socks, or tell what your makeup will look like. Incandescent and daylight have high CRI. Other technologies struggle to reach that standard. You often have to spend more to get a good CRI out of fluorescent and LED lights. Look at a little more information and maybe go to see a display at a store. Above all, go with what you like and don't worry about what other peoples' rules. It is your house.

It depends greatly on what fullness you prefer, in my opinion. I am going to buck popular trends and say that I do not like the overly-full ones, real OR artificial, where all the ornaments "hang" on just the outer plane -- I love being able to decorate from the tips all the way into the trunk. This perfect-for-me tree is exactly what I had been hoping for in an artificial tree -- looks so authentic. In lieu of an artificial tree ... Get the deepest largest pot for which you have room and plant yourself a rubber tree plant. That thing -- if in a large deep pot and properly cared for -- will reach twenty feet high. (Neighbor had one he had to move to his shop vaulted ceiling garage shop because it outgrew his home.) Mom gave me hers when it outgrew her home. I gave it away when it outgrew my home and my sister in law gave it away when it outgrew her home. No idea who ended up with it. If you cut off the top of a rubber tree plant or the end part of a limb of it, it will root.

Hi Deb! I personally have the cordless prelit Madison Fraser collection from Grandin Road. I have several of the wreaths and garland. Very realistic and just full enough. Some small berries and pine cones, but overall a classic look. I’ve used them for 3 seasons now and they’re still going strong. Grandin Road has several collections so you can find one that best suits your aesthetic. I ordered a prelit 7' "skinny" tree by Puleo last year from Pier One. I was very pleased with the look, especially after decorating it. I just checked and this brand is carried at Lowe's and HD as well. Unfortunately, I can't recall exactly which "model" I chose. I do remember that I liked it better than any thing I had seen at Target and the other 2 BB stores. Good luck.

I like my unlit Nobilis Fir from Grandin Road. It allows the ornaments to hang freely rather than laying against the tree.

Other good sources are Wayfair and Nearly Natural. Houzz even sells them :-)

As an ID, it seems like you would have way more resources and insider info than us. You should be able to find good wholesale sources to the trade. When I worked for a design firm, we had a favorite source in Dallas for faux trees and arrangements … not open to the public. They’re not in business anymore, or I’d share it.

Isn’t there a pro to pro board here? You could ask other IDs there. Good luck.

You received some suggestions; and I posted a link with recommendations for most realistic looking.

The fact is you may need to use more than one manufacturer, because overall there is really not a one size fits all solution when it comes to this. There is going to be variation in the quality, and various manufacturers are going to naturally have certain styles that they excel in. So if you are looking to do one stop shopping, you may not necessarily get the best quality. It may be easier - and might be passable - but not necessarily the best
