These drapes in this room?
Comments (27)Bodica that is a really good question. We dont really set the table in a formal manner and use the dining room more for puzzles and games as opposed to sit down dinners. Parma and Jenny - thank you so much for responding too. I actually have been thinking about the library vibe and I actually love that. I always drool over the RL site too. Gorgeous. I am actually trying to figure out how to hang tons of pictures on the wall in the DR that might just give it a library type feel. (Topic for another post) DH didnt like the first fabric I had above and liked this one better: I am getting ready to order it now. rmkitchen you are so sweet! Of course I remember chatting and that you ordered lots of lovely silks (and that fabulously gorgeous kitchen of yours!). I still haven't ordered any. I feel like I need the drapes and a few other things finished first. I am super excited and hope the cats all get along as well as yours did with the new addition! I am due May 7th and am counting down the weeks till the arrival of Connor....See MoreHow to make birch flush door match 60's mahogany luan flush door
Comments (3)luan slab doors are really cheap, like $ 40. maybe someone quoted you real mahogony by mistake. you can special order them from HD or even online. make sure you get stain grade, not paint grade. also when i ordered some for my 50's house, i did not realize the door knob opening was larger on a modern door than my old door hardware, so i recommend you check measurements....See MoreKitchen window treatment help.
Comments (4)I did a mock up, not sure if its what you would want, but gives an idea. I would likely consider a cornice type header so that maybe the window treatment doesn't sit so far back from the cabinets. Just an idea. You also may want something more neutral....See MoreCustom shower curtains
Comments (9)I agree with you, I am not satisfied with ready made shower curtains either. I hope we get to see pics of custom shower curtains. Would you happen to know where I can get a shower curtain rod that looks more like a drapery rod. I have looked online but not having much luck. I have looked at Bed Bath and Beyond, they did have one but it wasn't quite what I am looking for....See MorePatricia Colwell Consulting
