Flooring Design Dilemma

Mannington Adura Max Apex installation

Close to installing Mannington Adura Max Apex flooring.

It will cover my entire second floor: living room, dining room, kitchen, sitting area & bathroom -- open floor plan approx 900 sq feet.

My installer said they would start in the middle of the floor in the middle of the room & work outwards towards the walls. Is this ok to install like that? (I feel like it's not, almost everything I've seen/read its started in the corner next to a wall, except for doing a hallway that they start in the middle)

I have been searching for answers reading & videos, Mannington web site, Mannington install guide & can't find answer.

The instrauctions are very clear as to how to install the center line of the space is for reference as to how to lay the flooring to avoid slivers only .You can find all the instructions on google and I would advise printing them off and showing them to your installer NOW
