Thanks so much for the photos, the basement looks amazing! I would not have thought there was that much variation in the Ivory Coast by looking at our sample. Does it still feel like a unified look when you are in the space, not “blotchy”? I will say for a light color it sure looks real. So many of the lighter colors look plasticty, if that’s a word!

djacobz, on a hill so no early morning sun, but they do get 4-5 hours of mostly morning sun. The second photo, group of three are younger Hosta same as #3. Under a pine edge, not rocketing like #3 did, but looking nice just the same, but won't be a monster.

Miles, I have a birdfeeder too. (I assume you have a squirrel baffle.) I have figured out that it is best to not have plants near the bottom of the feeder. But I still do. I cleared away some plants and have put (1) protective netting secured with ground staples directly below (2) an overturned wire basket on small plants to protect them or (3) a cat mat to deter them from walking all over some areas. That helps. I agree that your Seducer, UTOG, is pretty. My Seducer has given me trouble. Some years it's been nice and looked promising and then downhill it went. So I've had to clean it up and have separated the eyes that are left. Not all of it will make it. It's been living in a pot. If any of it survives, I'll keep it in the ground.

Thank you! Hayes Oak was actually the first sample I got, but the texture of the sample piece looked and felt odd to me. I have gone to a store, looked at their samples, brought some home, and ordered others from the Coretec website. but when I see photos of actual installation, they all look so different from the sample! And the bigger problem is that my beach condo is 3 hours from home and currently uninhabitable - contractor has already demolished the old kitchen. So I can’t see how the samples look in the condo’s light and next to the adjacent carpeted living room. Is the bottom photo the Hayes Oak in your home? is the texture ”rough” - the sample i have is. Is Ivory Coast Oak the one in the middle pic, and Ventura chestnut the one on ”top?” Appreciate your help!
