Can’t tell much about the room from the picture, but perhaps a simple contemporary chair facing in ? I think the console & framed photos or art look fine ( again, from what little I can see). The television is at an appropriate height.

Looks like your "foyer" is full of doors, so this area could serve that purpose. First, consider updating the style of spindles or, if you have the budget, switching to a high pony wall in place of the railing and adding lighting in the stair well. Then you can put a foyer table against that railing area and art on the wall, or you can dress the pony wall with art and table. If you leave the railing and your rooms are fairly open, be sure you are working with the fabric and textile colors in the adjoining spaces when you choose a paint color. Pool? Looks like you could do an above ground that’s level with your patio. If not that I’m a big BBQ fan and that looks like a nice area to setup an outdoor kitchen area with your preference of tools (while I’d love to have a nice big offset smoker there’s a wide range of things to consider... pizza oven if you have the interest and energy!). Having a fridge or sink in your outdoor cook area is really nice Outdoor theatre sounds like a cool idea to me as well, although if it was me I imagine I would end up not getting enough use out of it If none of these maybe just reclaim some of your grass area, maybe bring in some fill and rail road ties and make the step down a little less. Nice to have more space to throw a ball or play a yard game

move the wedding photo to the niche (or in another room). you actually need two of them (the one you have is hung too high) here's an example. or, if you want the one, try staging it like this. maybe tile the back wall inside the nice, try a wallpaper, a darker paint color. I've always liked this wall niche. I love the black/white inlay bone mirror. in this tall rectangle, it lookds great inside the arched niche. consider cutting a piece of wood for the bottom portion tried to photoshop it but your photo is crooked. if you could get me a shot of it standing straight on, I could play around w/it. beneath the mirror I'd place a piece of wood for the bottom 'shelf'. it would be like a sill. the wood would match your post or your flooring. you could do a small grouping of plants, or something similar to sit on the wood 'sill' beneath the mirror. now, for your entry table, do it like this. the mercury glass lamps/black shade, and the bright green/white floral arrangement is so pretty. especially if you do the black/white bone inlay mirrorr what about this version w/the art? you'd have to pick something you like, but fit it between two lamps, or some greenery and a vase. I like the ceramica stools beneath them. black would also work I actually have this light for my hallway. Bergamot 17" I also love a good piece of art. your table, a few key pieces If doing a mirror, do something in the right size, balanced w/other items. get some little ottomans to slide under the console, or something like these baskets these are three diff ways to style slim consoles. it's paired here w/a snow leopard rug. but look at the top left.. the white vase w/plant leaves, stool/basket beneath, a little lamp, other elements and a large mirror. (I like a nice piece of art better) this is the size you'd want here's a large mirror, console, small stool to slide under it, and a nice potted orchid. and a cool light dont forget some cool lighting.
