IMO they connect to nothing so maybe now work some orange into the space . You need some end tables with lamps so that might be a way to finish this space I would put the floor lam over by the chair with maybe an Eileen gray endtable then another end table and a coffee table for the sofa .Then add a pice of art and if you are not going original then look for something with some orange in it . I think a cowhide on top of the rug and under a glass coffee table would be awesome.

It would work better if you bring more the same accent colors.
