Caring for Blackberries Awaiting Transplants

I am in the Atlanta, GA area, zone 7B / 8A.

I purchased two 6 packs of blackberries, Prime-Ark Freedom Primocane and Triple Crown Thornless blackberries from an online plant seller. My plan is to plant four plants and give away the remainder to family members also in the same zone.

Right now the plants are in a partially shaded area which I placed them as part of transitioning and high temperatures. The forecast for the next couple weeks range from mid 80s to mid-high 70s. also our temperatures were but now that the temperatures.

I just want to check in regarding caring for the plants while awaiting transplant.

I plan to make sure that the plant is kept watered.

Since the temperatures are getting milder. I can move the plants to a sunnier location. The current location is likely where I plan to transplant to, but I am rethinking that.

I don't think that it is too complicated but I just want to check in in case there are additional considerations I am not aware of.

Thank you.
