They are the 1969 originals. The hallways of my buildings have the fixed rod version in many of the hallways, from 1965. They are a relatively unobtrusive way to get pendant lighting when historically appropriate ones would be prohibitively expensive. These have been problematic because they get knocked out of whack I did the currently available cheap version in a project a couple years ago:

Spray it black add clear glass globes...it will have a modern farmhouse vibe.

Ok problem solved. There was no screw on side on collar but I used belt (really good friction to glass) as a wrench and unscrewed (anti-clockwise). There was rubber seal between glass and collar which not helped to start.
