I like your metal roof; maybe choose a gray that complements it, and paint the fascia black for contrast. Keep the soffit the same color as the walls. Then a bright color of your choice for the front door. I would also trim back the bushes in your planter and change the frilly wrought iron porch support to something similar to what you have in your carport - you could do this by boxing in the metal with wood. Nice house; please keep us posted on your progress!

Herb Bouquet is too bland. ...blends in too much, (looks like the north side of a woodshed before the power washing each Spring.)

You could use it for the trims, but I would do a deep graphite toward Navy for a modern look. Keep some wood for contrast.

Thank you for that color edit! Really shows how paint and some trim will help the appeal. I like the color but I want something more muted and a bit darker. I stumbled upon caldwell green, if only it had a little more grey in it, it would be perfect.

Next year I will be replacing all my windows and doors.

My preference would be to not go too dark. You have a long, low-ish roof line and a light color will give the house life and contrast with the shade and (pretty!) trees.

This is newly painted SW Grassland (6163) in case it helps to see a real life picture. Or how about their color of the year, Evergreen fog?

Which of these two will look better?

To my eyes, no 1 looks way too light, and doesnt blend in with all your trees and wooded areas. No 2, blends in and makes the house look like it belongs there.

No 1 is too light and No 2 is too dark. How about something in between?

I like the dark olive color, above. But note the need for colorful flowers, accessories, door…unless you do the door in wood. Attractive house! Go for the darker toned green. And please post the AFTER, ok?

I much prefer the top one. While I love dark, earthy greens, I think a lighter color amid all the shade and greenery would be so pretty and cheerful … especially with your style house. If it was a rustic cabin, I’d say the darker one.

I honestly like the current color and would go close to that, with a darker gray for the trim.

Does anyone have specific paint colors for the olive green or the creamy white? I would like to paint swatches on the walls before I commit to either. The idea for the green is perhaps one with a bit of grey in it. I liked caldwell green but seems a bit too bright, and I’m wanting something slightly more muted. Regarding the teal, seems too risky of a color choice.

I would at least do the garden wall a different color to add some interest. Beefing up the posts (and making them all the same) and adding some interest to those will make things look fresher and more cohesive. I think the creamy ivory or a nature-inspired green would look great. What vibe + style are you going for?

I agree with Jinx’s suggestions, We live on a wooded lot , and dark houses look depressing to my eyes

Here are some suggestions for SW greens: Prairie Sage or Olive Grove.

The style I’m going for is modern ranch/cabin but preferably in a moody dark sense.

I really wouldn’t mind if it looks dark from the outside because in the inside it’s all painted and decorated in whites and beige colors and i have lamps everywhere.

Ahh, well in that case the green is perfect. You posted both, so it wasn’t clear what your vision was.

The s/o likes a lighter brick. Which is why the white is an option. The thing with white on a wooded lot like mine is I’m afraid it will require more maintenance because of the debris all the trees throw around.
