You are going to want more than 32" for the toilet. 36" is standard (and perhaps even code in some areas???? Not here in Maine but I heard people saying that on other forums...) We have 34" and it feels fine but I dont think I'd want to go much tighter. You could solve that simply by flipping the closet and shower. So, have your shower -rotated 90 degrees and witha glass end wall- at the end of the tub (which is a nice setup you can see in many bathrooms, the tub deck can actually protrude under the shower glass wall and be a ledge or seat in the shower). Then the passageway moves to the left, and you can steal a bit of space from the other closet for the toilet. Either that of have a shorter vanity. 48" isn't a size I'd fight for. It's too short for a double vanity, really (unless you're using one of the new two-faucet 'trough" styles) so why not go down to 42" and have a better toilet area? For resale, though, you should consider a double vanity. Some people I guess expert truly huge ones, like at least 5+' long. But you CAN get smaller ones, Ikea has some great ones for tight spaces. But if you're not selling anytime soon, do what YOU like!! (But I still think you'll want more toilet space...)

I like a mirror with a frame stained to match the cabinetry like this first picture or two separate mirrors centered above each sink each with a fixture centered above each mirror. In this second photo there are sconces but I can imagine it with lights like one linked here, a pair of them, each centered over the two mirrors. A site to shop for possible lights is lightingdirect. I had a door something like that in a bathroom once...they can be an eyesore, frankly. In your situation, I wonder if you could extend the small white cabinet upwards somehow to cover the door? Maybe add a shelf unit on top of it? That would make the room look more finished. Then you could add white accessories in different textures -- thick, fluffy white towels with some kind of white rug, maybe a white wicker waste bin or white mother-of-pearl accessories, etc. You have a good start with some of the items on top of the cabinet.

I was talking about moving the faucet if you end up finding a sink the depth you want but bigger than would work with a faucet behind it on the counter. Build.com allows you to search for depth. So does Quality Bath. Build has the Kohler Serif that is 6.44" deep and quite large. Since it is an under mount, that adds another inch to inch and a half of countertop to the height. The Miseno has a depth of 7.125", but since it has sloping ends, probably holds less volume than the Kohler Serif. This Toto is bigger yet, with a 7.875" depth. It also has their nifty anti-stick finish. Again, it has sloping ends and is an under mount. One of the round metal sinks, like this Elkay Mystic 18 x 16 x 8" one may give you a larger volume, as the sides are less sloped than many of the others. Or this Laufen undermount that is around 8" deep. Or this Bates undermount that is 7" deep inside. There are lots of deep sinks at QualityBath.com. Remember that any overflow hole will cut down on usable depth, and many times if you click on the specifications for a sink, the diagram will show you the depth to overflow if it is not in the text. You can also temporarily plug an overflow if you choose.
