Window above vanity is too low. Larger vanity mirror with style?

We just moved into a house that was built. When we went through the final walkthrough, there were no mirrors yet since they were on back order, so didn't notice the issue at the time. Now that the mirrors are in, it is very apparent: the mirrors are too low but can't be raise do the window being too low. The builder will for sure not come in to raise the window up to allow for more room, so wondering what I should do so I can actually see my face in the mirror.

I am 5' 10.5" and can only see my chin when standing at the sink, so it is quite low. My first idea, and possibly the only, would be to remove the trim around the window al together and put the mirror up to the window. That would give 4 inches which is better than nothing. The other option would be to just cover up the window but that seems like a no brainer not to do. Any other thoughts?
