If the boss is willing to drop enogh cash on a ”forever fridge” then I’d get a GE Monogram panel ready and have the cabinetmake integrate it. Most small black fridges will be college dorm type quality. At least with GE, you actually can get it serviced on site if need be.

For about an extra grand, both Monogram and JennAir also offer ”refrigerator drawers” that look very sleek and integrate nicely. These are all high end, self-defrosting units suitable for a corporate setting.

@wdccruise They would like a compact refrigerator without a freezer. The purpose would be mainly to hold canned beverages.

I don't have exact measurements right now, but I believe the counter is a standard size. They said the fridge can be any width because we can plan the renovations around it, although I think they would still want something about 4-5 cu. ft.

What they requested is a refrigerator with a plain black front that doesn't have a window. I assume they want that so that the fridge doesn't stand out in the room, which is why I think I might try to convince them to get one with a custom panel instead since there seems to be better options if we go that route.

Sub Zero refrigerator drawers would be a good option as well as their single door. The drawers come in 24, 30, or 36” panel ready or stainless and I believe the single door comes in a 24” panel ready.

How about the Summit FF7BKBILHD (black front) or Summit FF7BKBIIFLHD (panel front) both of which can be freestanding or built in? These are hinged on the left side but they're also available with hinges on the right side.

In an office setting it does seem like access would be more convenient in a drawer unit…no need for kneeling or bending low to reach in for items that may be pushed towards the back of the unit..also wine bottles can be laid down…

I'd look at both Perlick and True, in addition to Subzero, of course. Ask for quotes both on residential and commercial models.

And I do second the recommendation for drawers. We have panel ready Perlick freezer drawers (which can be programmed to operate as refrigerators) and we're quite happy with our choice
