I personally think Kilim Beige is pretty dark... Natural Choice is lighter, but very similar.

have you thought of changing up your lighting to brighten up the space some?

Thanks Lyn. I think Natural Choice is too light for what I'm looking for but it is pretty. I think I will change the the bulbs to make it brighter.

Your space has deep shadows so some beautiful lighting is a must.

Thank you. I'll have to take a look at that as well. We are getting a quote on canned lighting in my LR because it's dark but I wasn't thinking I'd have to change my foyer light which has 6 lights but it sounds like I may need to go bigger.

Thank you. I was thinking the Sea Salt was a nice color to bring together the warmer kitchen decor and the cooler FR decor. I saw on several reviews that Sea Salt goes well with Kilim Beige. I hadn't thought of painting everything one color. Maybe I should rethink this.

When you have so much going on … architecturally….color variations may be distracting….a continuous neutral throughout ….is more adaptable for “decor” changes from room to room….one exception may be a smallish separate space , like the foyer…where an accent color on the ceiling may define the space better…and even add to the drama of a beautiful statement chandelier at the entrance…

Before choosing any color in a home with so many windows and natural light… do some good size swatches in each room to see how the color changes with the natural lighting during the day

I've being doing that with sample boards. We thought we decided on Kilim but got a little scared today in the morning light. Overall, I think it's a good choice because I don't think anything is going to be as we like at all times but with all shadows maybe lighter would be better. I'm going to get a sample of Canvas Tan and Vanilla Sugar tomorrow. I appreciate your guidance. Thank you!!!

I had kilim beige in my house and liked it a lot. However, it was a very popular color in 2000-2010 Tuscan era. I would push for a more updated color for the entire house. You can use pops of color in an adjoining rooms, but I would pick one color through your open floor plan. You need to look at your fixtures granite and cupboards and find paint colors in those undertones. Try SW Canvas Tan, BM edgecomb gray, SW White Duck, SW accessible beige, SW Drift of Mist, and anew gray:)

Thank you so much for your comments. I love Edgecomb Gray, Anew Gray, & Accessible Beige but unfortunately in my home they look too gray with my decor and fixed elements. That's actually the problem I keep having. Literally nothing seems to work with different undertones clashing. My floor tile is light with yellow/beige so any color with gray in it looks awful certain times of the day. Today I picked up swatches of SW Patience, SW Lotus Pod, SW Canvas Tan, Natural Choice & Neutral Ground. Canvas Tan & Natural Choice didn't work well but I really love how Patience is looking & am hopeful in tomorrow's light it will look good. The other 2 I think may work are SW Natural Linen & Neutral Ground. I'm going to pick up samples tomorrow. Also, the amazing feedback I've received made me realize just how dark my house is. I'm looking to update my lighting asap. Quick question, I was thinking one color for the foyer, kitchen, FR, stairway, upstairs loft and hallways but was also thinking maybe a different complimenting shade for my LR/DR (possibly Ivoire). Would you recommend all one color including these 2 rooms?

I think I can help you! Your tile is very similar to my mom’s house. I love her paint color it is very similar to kilim beige, but it is brighter and will work better in your space. This color is beautiful with a white crisp molding. The LRV is 64.01% which is ideal. The color is sw desert fawn. Kwall paint use to make it.

Her ceilings and walls are all painted this color. However, I would paint my ceilings white:)
