Help! Back door in the middle of my living room

We’re moving to our new condo this weekend and this living has me stumped. The rear door is right in the middle of my long narrow living room that also has 3 pillars in the way. The rear door will be somewhat of a main door since it’s closest to the parking lot. I have no idea what furniture arrangements would work. I only have a sofa and a love seat right now along with a 60in tv that won’t be mounted (for now). I don’t have measurements at the moment but any ideas or suggestions? Unfortunately we don’t have a family room so this is the only area for tv/conversation.

Is the area behind the columns a dining area? Is there a long straight wall on the right side of the room? Can't see it.

Yes that is the dining area and that is a hallway on the right. It goes to the front door. Also, the entryway on the left is the kitchen.

@decoenthusiaste - I rearranged to where the sofa is on the longest wall and the TV is on the wall opposite of the window. I like that setup the most, but I need more seating in front of the window like 2 wingback chairs or something similar.

Don't center a rug in the room -- this is such a large room that it needs to be subidived into two spaces. Set up a seating ensemble around the fireplace and bookcases (put a TV in the bookcase if you want it in this room), with a couch (facing right), couple of chairs, coffee table, and your rug turned 90 degrees to unify that space. You could put a console table behind the couch to give it a more welcoming face (maybe even with drawers for mittens, or a tray for mail, etc.). Then put your bench under the window to the left of the door, with a coat rack in the corner, boot tray underneath, etc. -- I think this "mudroom" zone will actually just need the upper-left quarter of the space, and could have its own rug. That leaves the lower-left corner for one more functional space: could be a desk and chair, or a game/puzzle table, or a bookcase, reading chair, lamp grouping, or some storage pieces with art. That should put you in good shape. I'd consider reversing the door, as it would feel more natural for the mudroom purpose as well as being less restrictive of furniture placement...

The front room appears to be more of an entry room/foyer. You could consider using the designated ’bedroom’ as a combination bedroom/living room/sitting room - and, as suggested by @heathermalia, you could alternatively put a tv in the bedroom, if you are planning to have a tv. And as one idea for extra ‘living room’ seating, you could keep a stack of stackable chairs in a corner of the bedroom, with a throw over it. And I would instead set the front room space up with a round entry table, that could also double as a dining table (you could keep a couple of folding chairs on hand for when you’d like to use the table for dining). And I’d also include a bench in the space, for general entry room seating/maybe to rest bags/take off shoes, etc. And where the tv console is - up against that wall - I’d put a console table or sideboard/credenza with some art over it. Realtor pictures are so wrong for getting any feel for the space I need meaurements for sure . I think since it is probably just you using that door I would kind of arrange furniture ignoring it as much as possible .

I will be measuring the room myself this weekend since as a renter they didn’t give me the floor plan.

I'm thinking to separate the living and dining area little more, you could have the sofas back facing the dining area and have it right by the columns, centered beteween the columns. Float the loveseat in the room perpendicular for the sofa and creating a walkway behind it. The tv could go on the wall that is next to the dining area. Does that make sense?

Yes it does! Only thing now it what to do with the area on the other side since that would split the living room

Yes, well the way I'm seeing it the sofa and loveseat would take up a good majority of the center of the room. You may have space behind the loveseat to do a sofa table or put a long cabinet along that wall behind the loveseat. As long as there is good enough space for a generous walkway behind the loveseat.

You could potentially create an L shape with a sofa with it's back to the columns and a sofa facing the wall when you walk in on the left. It might look a little something like this:
