I don’t have them yet and don’t know if they are to the trade only, but you might check. They blanket wrap and put it in a truck.

I’ve had a vintage tub crated and shipped freight as well as a number of in-state deliveries. Oh, I also had lamps shipped cross-country shipped via some partner with The RealReal.

Probably your best bet is to get with a shipping or moving company that has extra room on a truck. It won’t be quick.

When we were selling large and/or heavy estate items on eBay, several people used GoShip for crosscountry deliveries. The buyers arranged pick up, and the driver called us to come get the item to be delivered.

Another idea is to call your local UPS franchise (not a UPS sign store, but like PakMail was ours in AL). They crated a huge sectional DD1 sold to a lady in CA.

ETA: FWIW I do not recommend calling a large shipping or moving company, having experiences numerous crosscountry moves for DD1. Many outright lie about when furniture will be delivered, time and time again. They often meet another truck on the side of the highway and transfer from Truck A to Truct B to C to D, until it gets to the last truck. They even store your things in an unconditioned storage unit sometimes. It is like they are holding your furniture hostage.

It wasn't me, but a friend did as 1929Spanish suggested. She had inherited several nice pieces from her mothers estate on the west coast, and had three young adult sons nearer her home in Minnesota she wanted to share with (so taking more of it than she may have for herself). She somehow arranged for a moving company who had quite a bit less than a full load going there so it may not be all that uncommon - this was 6 or so years ago. She was present for the packing and loading, but I don't have other helpful details.

When I was designing furniture, the company I worked for used Plycon to ship furniture all over the country. I also had Plycon pick up and deliver a very large painting from Texas to Los Angeles, but my brother had already crated it. I believe it cost $200 to ship it, but that was 30 or more years ago, I think.

Sometimes shipping can cost almost as much as the furniture. I wanted to buy a small dining table from Teak Warehouse in Los Angeles and have it shipped to Palm Springs, and the shipping quote was $300 for a $399 table. The distance is only 120 miles. I told them I would pick it up myself for that price.

When my mom passed away, I shipped a bedroom set, an antique lamp, and a bunch of boxes of random stuff from Washington to California. I ended up using a moving company (Bekins). I didn't spend a lot of time shopping around (my mom lived in a retirement home and we had very little time to move out) and I ended up paying their minimum job fees for my small order. Maybe I could have found something less expensive, but it seemed like it was going to be $$$ no matter what from the other inquiries I made. But they were great on customer service, timing, packing, and everything arrived perfectly intact (including the dresser's vanity mirror)
