The instructions say "add adhesive to back of wall panels" it doesn't say what kind of adhesive. What would be the best and most long lasting to use?

It also says to caulk the joints. I have used Dicor caulks on my camper and found them excellent sealants. Would that work to seal the joints? Or is there something better?
