Hello! I moved to a property with several existing rose bushes. My landscaping plan includes moving them to new locations, but I'm wondering if they're worth keeping. All have a lot of old wood at the base. Can or should these be cleaned up and salvaged?

Two of the roses have original wire tags; they are Mister Lincoln and Scentimental. Not sure what the other two are, but one might be a floribunda and the other is quite small. I should add that my husband wouldn't mind replacing them, so I'd move them this month to make room and if they survive, great! Maybe we'll keep them or give them away next spring. If not, we get to pick out new roses.

Any suggestions on how to clean these up are appreciated!
