Memorial Day Dining Room Decorated w/Christmas Decor
Comments (11)Jane, so glad you are giving your foot time to heal before your next surgery. It would be awful to not have at least one good one. I had foot surgery on my right foot 12 years ago and couldn't drive for 2 months. It was a year before I could do a full run and feel comfortable. I couldn't even ride a bike for a few months.LOL DD's BDay is Jan. 14th so that's what gets me out shopping after Christmas. It's always so cold but she's so special I have to! DGD's BDay is coming soon and she wants her party here again. May get to use some of my neat dishes again.Yeah DS came down today but didn't get to see DGD. We did alot of cleaning and yard work so that worked out good. Didnd't make it to the cemetary till late this afternoon because we were so busy. We will have all the family home over the 4th so have alot to do around here to get ready. I always tease my family they come and visit to keep me on top of things. Jeanne, the small star candle holders are from Dollar Plus. The lg center one is crystal and I picked up the other two at ys. Your the reason I always light my tables. Thanks for the comments on the flowers. They look better in RL but I didn't want to go take any more pictures. I need you here to help in that dept.haha I have a bush in one of my gardens that reminds me of your honeysuckle but it's blooms are pink. I'll have to take a picture and see if you know what it is one day. Luvs, always great to hear from you. Hope you are hanging in there and finding some time for you. Will keep you in my T & P. Thanks so much Jane, Jeanne and Luvs for all your sweet comments. Punk...See MoreDining Room Decor Advice Needed! Stuck with a mostly empty room!
Comments (3)That table is far too large for the room, sorry - I know you just bought it. Your room would lend itself better to a 54" to 60" round table. Suggest you put that table back on Facebook Marketplace and go that direction. Over-crowded dining rooms never look good....See MoreDining room decorating
Comments (43)Re: http://www.thehandwerkshop.com/ this is the company they are in a suburb of Portland OR. I had them make shades for every window and received them a year ago. They are all stil perfect. I have tried to reach Linda, the owner, several times with no success. I hope they are still in business. Nothing has been updated on the website since I ordered. I have a roller shade made by Handwerk for my front door that's 3/4 lite. My first one from around 2015 developed a bad spring mechanism so I wanted another one to replace it. They're quite reasonably priced, so I didn't mind buying a new one. I emailed Linda countless times and then nothing. I was about to try another manufacturer, when I picked up the phone, dialed the number, and Linda answered. I think the pandemic and filling orders got a little overwhelming. She was very sorry not to have responded sooner. I told her I believed in all's well that ends well, and she appreciated that. I placed another order with the same measurements as before, and received my wonderful new shade. Please don't give up on her....See MoreDining room decorating
Comments (26)I am practicing my image search skills after seeing so many here who are so good at it. I tried to find the chandelier that you were asking about- suggested by Beverly. The best I can do is possibly: It looks like the first one but not so huge and rather pricey https://www.lightingdirect.com/capital-lighting-442601-701-abbie-12-light-51-wide-pillar-candle-chandelier/p4243776 https://www.destinationlighting.com/item/abbie-inch-chandelier-polished-nickel-homeplace-capital-lighting/P2375232 or https://www.destinationlighting.com/item/bolden-brushed-polished-nickel-chandelier-craftmade-lighting/P2231788 Not sure it's any of those but maybe someone else will have better skills....See MoreSabrina Alfin Interiors
