Is this an acceptable demo job?

We are having old flooring removed to install luxury vinyl planks (floating floor). We had tiles removed from entryway, kitchen. Engineering hardwood floor removed from living room, master bedroom and office. After the demo, we can see remains of the thinset from where the tiles were removed. In the bedroom and office, we can see glue leftover. The contractor we used explained because the concrete is porous, the glue has become one with the subfloor, so as long as it’s smooth, this look is completely acceptable. As for the living room, you can tell from the picture, leveler has been used for the previous floor. Parts of the old leveler have been chipped off and majority of the old leveler is still there. But there are also a lot of chips and craters. It’s clear they used machinery to grind down the thinset, it left a lot of circular marks on the subfloor with thinset remains. We asked the contractors to come back and look at it, they said they have done a good job and it is up to standards. We have seen old floorings getting demoed before, the subfloor doesn’t look what we ended up. Is this acceptable or am I overreacting? Really appreciate everyone’s thoughts.
