Good point. "Support" can be a good thing, no doubt. The main user of this piece will be my teenage son, however, who wants something he can really sink into! BTW, the leather sectional I'm referring to is by Natuzzi. Just about decided to buy it--now that I know I can soften up the seating. Any idea how much I might expect to spend at the upholsterer? The two cushions on the sleeper part are sewn together--so no potential gapping issue. The softer the foam, the more that happens, right? The attached chaise seat is plenty cushy. Hi! We have 3 Apt2B pieces - a sectional and 2 sofas. 2 pieces are 6 years old and 1 is 2 years old (we came back for more!). All are in fantastic condition despite 2 young kids and multiple moves. They have really wonderful customer service, too. The chaise cushion on our sectional had a loose button and a seam unraveling and they fixed it. We also lost a piece to the leg on one of our sofas during a recent move and they sent a replacement at no cost. Love they are made in usa and excellent quality and customer service!

Not familiar with either brand, but both are made in the U.S. which likely means it's better quality than something made overseas. I'd take a look at customer reviews online. If they're both equally favorable, just pick the sofa style you like best.
