Amazon Customer service
Comments (31)That happened to me with a product I ordered this month. It was listed as prime and even said IN STOCK below the item. However, after ordering the item, it said my delivery date was about a week away! Well, that date came and went. I don't remember all the details except that I called Amazon to complain as it was a red bows I needed to decorate my porch for Christmas and time sensitive. Well it turned out that they were not in stock after all. Even though while we were on the phone, we both looked at the online listing and it clearly said "in stock" and Prime. However, he pointed something out to me that he claimed he never realized as a customer until going to work for Amazon - the two-day shipping only refers to the delivery method. So the two day guarantee is for AFTER it leaves the warehouse. If you ever notice, sometimes when you order something, it says below the item "Have it by <DATE> with 2-day Prime Shipping" or something along those lines. Except...not all prime items give a specific date. The item I was ordering did not have that date underneath and it wasn't until I made it all the way through and placed my order did it give me a longer delivery date. For me the downside was that I wasn't going to get my bows in a timely manner and they had nothing similar that they could offer me instead. On the bright side, he gave me a $10 off credit against my next order which was much appreciated. I did eventually get my bows but they were at least 10 days after I ordered them, despite them being listed as Prime. The guy told me he was going to send a note up the chain to fix the listing, but when I checked a few days later, it was still listed the same way....See MoreAmazon order not received
Comments (18)A lot of the mess is the carriers fault. I ordered a kindle fire hd 10 from Amazon. It said it was delivered even though it wasn't. I called Amazon and they called ups. UPS asked a bunch of questions about my address and did I check everywhere a package could be left before I finally just asked them to call their delivery driver. I got a call back about an hour later saying that the driver still had the package and would meet me at a local Winn Dixie after he got done for the day if I wanted. I asked them to just deliver it the next business day instead. When they didn't,I called and they asked was I SURE that I asked that it be delivered? Uh,yeah, that's why you have it genius. She offered to have it delivered the next day. I just went to ups and picked it up myself. Amazon was very helpful. They followed up with me to make sure i got my package. UPS,not so much. Fed ex continues to leave my packages at my neighbors house despite explicit directions and a clear address marker. The regular USPS driver keeps putting my neighbors mail in my mailbox. My mailbox is a locking one,so I always get a stack of her mail with a little note from the mailman-"oops,please give this to your neighbor thanks." Also,I suspect that this time of year is nuts at Amazon's warehouses, and a missed item is easy to overlook. Not a good excuse. But my experience with them is that they take your word for it and do the best they can to rectify the problem....See MoreAdventures in Amazon tracking
Comments (17)Well, this is not as easy as I thought. I waited for a little break in the rain. Thought I can just put the package on the porch or somewhere else dry. There was a gate right at the driveway with a “beware of dogs” sign. Rang the bell, no answer. I didn’t have a big enough bag in the car to leave it at the gate (it’s already raining again). Thought about leaving a note in the mailbox, but the flag was up. The Amazon driver turned into my driveway right behind me to deliver my missing package. He didn’t want to take the other one. Said to contact Amazon customer service....See Moreamazon fraud...??
Comments (37)You're at a flight check-in counter with a work colleague. They go first. The agent says "Hmm, for some reason there's no seat assignment. Do you have a preference?" Your colleague goes ballistic and starts yelling: "What do you mean there's no seat assignment? I always get a window seat, this reservation was made a month ago. What's the matter with your F-ing airline. I want the window seat in Aisle 8, I always get that. Move someone if you have to, I don't give a s** t. I want to see your manager, this is outrageous. I want compensation". Yada yada yada. I've seen scenes like this too many times. You say nothing? I say something. Usually, "Calm down". ____________________ Back to the topic, I hope always1 can get this sorted out....See Moreraee_gw zone 5b-6a Ohio
