Comments (13)Ampersand it woke up later than some others but fruited too late to ripen here. Inground Hardy Chicago died to near ground and came back and fruited and ripening as of last week. Bought around 2003 and put inground several years ago for curiosity. Coldest outdoor temp was between 18-20 below zero with stretches of days hovering at 0 . Outdoor thermometer Jan 6 .14 8:46 am Hc inground Jan 6 .14 Its spare grows in container. For many years mid March when i start fig shuffle when temps allow then back in garage in evening. Comments (9)Its quite simple by yearly limb pruning and 2-3 year root pruning which i do with all my fig trees. They are grown in 30g containers and moved with an old type hand truck that elderly neighbor gave to me, nice thing about its wheels is they that have ball bearings. Martin...See MoreNelson E.
