Agree. White paint -- same as the rest of your house trim -- for the gray garage door and repaint the round grey air vent above it the same white.

Use an off white from the brick for the small area of siding, then a dark charcoal for the trim. If you add big white and red flowers in the foundation beds, it will be striking.

I'm fine with the shutters, but wish you had ones that fit. (They're too long.) Not a fan of the dark trim idea. The landscape needs to be redone. It is boring and a touch oppressive. If you want suggestions, move in closer with the camera, to about 1 1/2 car lengths from the house and take a series of slightly overlapping photos that pan from far left to far right, Include background space beyond each end of the house.

Your house and yard look wonderful. :) My DD just bought a mid-century house (in Texas) that originally had a similar brick color as yours … unfortunately, flippers painted it white. We so wish they hadn’t.
