The seeds you sent me, CT!
Comments (6)No I didn't get an email and that tqci email is now gone. I use the metrocast and yahoo emails. I'll send you a test email from my home computer. Glad to hear it sprouted. I would try some directly outside with the cooler weather. They are VERY prolific seeders. My main plants bloomed early summer and set seeds which also grew and bloomed this fall. I had to pull many of them up. I think they should grow for you even though you are a warmer climate than much of Montana. They do have fuzzy leaves in a sort of green/blue but not so fuzzy as rose campion for instance. I still have your Hollyhock seeds for next spring planting....See Morecathy1951 you sent me a robin -- what swap is this?
Comments (3)thanks for the response cathy. just wondering who the host is and have been trying to look for the original post. thanks for the offer of postage. that's not a problem. it's just a waste of my money to have something i didn't want to participate in. i wrote to who i believe to have been the host, as someone else saw my post and suggested who it was. she sent me a rather nasty note back without even addressing my questions. it's out of my possession, so i am no longer concerned with it. just annoys me that the host decided to include me when she was told not to. she should be the one reimbursing postage, but i won't hold my breath. have a nice weekend and thanks for your response. i hope all is well with you and your family....See MoreWait to you see what Maria sent me...........
Comments (18)Oh wow, those coasters sure will be perfect for your next mexican meal, and the colors are spectacular. That little batter bowl is very unique, I've never seen anything quite like that and the card is just beautiful. Bellini jam? What a great idea, my mother would love that I think. I feel an experiment coming on..... Enjoy everything Ann, it's a great selection for you and Moe. Annie...See MoreKara, it's growing!
Comments (10)I’m so happy for you;)! Your cutting is on track with the mother plant. Maybe about a month behind, which makes sense. On my plant I didn’t notice any new growth till about a month ago. I was getting a little worried, but one day I looked at it and saw exactly what your seeing now;). The pads grow pretty quickly too. The hard part is not knocking them off. My poor Opuntia elata will forever be a bunch of single rooted pads because no matter how hard I try to be careful around them, I seem to knock off pads. The bigger pad behind the smaller one is the first pad that started growing last month. So you should have a decent sized pad in a month. The Edithcolea you sent me is finally becoming anchored in it’s little pot. At first I was giving it morning sun, but that was too much. It got a couple burn marks. Now it gets bright filtered light. I wish it was still green. I’m thinking it will start going back to green now that I think the roots are growing. I looked online and there are other Edithcolea that look more brown like mine. So that makes me feel better. The pumice is stained from a little tiny bit of worm castings I put in there. You had also sent me another little rooted piece, but that one started to what looked like damping off. It’s a cutting now. I’m not holding my breath but you never know. I’m just thankful the big piece seems to be doing ok. I got nervous after a couple people said they had a hard time with this plant....See MoreStush2049 Pitts. PA, zone 6
