garden cart
Comments (15)Yes, you are looking at a smart cart wheelbarrow. The other garden cart pointed to above weighs more than double the smartcart. You can compare them all in a side by side chart below. Smart carts allow 2 types of wheels and the one pictures in this cart is the smaller puncture proof wheel. I bought mine with the large spoked wheels, and in the end I wish I had the easier tires that never go flat. That said, ergonomically, the spoked wheels are the easiest. Comments (2)My wheelbarrow has 2 front wheels, and is plastic. It's less apt to tip, and lightweight. I bought it at the local hardware store. I don't have Parkinson's, so perhaps someone more knowledgeable than I would give you a different answer, but my suggestion is to be going through a gardening catalogue sometime when you're around him, and "discover" both types of wheelbarrows.Say something like "Oh, this is neat" and "Oh, this is something different!" Show him the pictures of both kinds, then run down to the hardware or gardening centre and get him the kind he thinks is better. I'll post a link to what I have, scroll down to Lawn and Garden Cart Here is a link that might be useful: Lawn and garden cart...See MoreWANTED: Trade: Garden Cart for small Wheelbarrow
Comments (0)I have a garden cart with two wheels, in good condition. It's too wide for my paths and the entry to my front garden, so I'm wondering if anyone has a smaller wheelbarrow in good condition that they'd like to trade? I can' post a pic of the cart after this thunder, lightning, hail and torrential rainstorm passes ;-) Heather...See MoreA favorite garden cart?
Comments (2)Hi Dotty, The more I looked at carts online the more I came to the same conclusion about the tarp. I'm also able to make my own super heavy duty one because I had an upholstery biz at one time and still have the heavy machines. Maybe I can have a little garden tarp biz on the side if I come up with something good? :) Thanks and Happy Spring...See MoreLindsey_CA
