Thanks, Linda. That round rod wouldn't have much chance to be viewed in our house because the table would be at coffee table height most of the time and when at dining height the rod would be hidden by the people seated around the table. I've emailed Ethan Allen to see if they can provide any help and would appreciate it if anyone here who knows of or finds an image of the table shares it with me. I'm not sure what you mean by the "secondary market" but am guessing it's another way to say used or pre-owned. If so, I'll add it to my growing list of such items we're seeking. On that note, has anyone seen a used Yamaha C2 (5'8") Disklavier Mark IV piano offered for sale, preferably in satin ebony?

Is there going to be any seating in the room? What color? I'd try to repeat a color you're going to use except in a light tone. I can visualize a lighter shade of the color you have already painted on the upper part of the wall and then the very lightest tone of that shade on the ceiling. It would transition very well. Hope this helps a bit.

For 'placecards' for my son's wedding, I painted smooth, palm-sized stones with the names of each couple. The colors were from the invitations. The table numbers were written on stickers so they could be removed. Everyone loved their additional little token remembrance of our Garden Wedding. The final result is the Walt & Dianne one--it has the irridescent glitter flower centers and has been sprayed with glossy polyurethane. It's quite white, I don't know why it's showing up with the yellow cast. On the back of each stone is a stamp that reads-- . . . and they lived happily ever after.

I went to a baby shower a few weeks ago and one game was...as each guest arrived a clothes pin was clipped to their shirt or blouse. They were told that if they heard anyone say the word "baby" that they could steal their clothes pin. Whoever had the most clothes pins at the end of the game was the winner. You would think it's easy not to say "baby", but it's not! Another game is to take several jars of baby food. Remove the labels, but tape the type of food on the bottom of the jar. Also number each jar. Give each person a plastic spoon, pencil and paper. Each person is to taste the food and write down the jar number and what they think the food is. Most correct answers is the winner. A disgusting game, LOL, is to take different foods and smear each food inside a newborn disposable diaper. Each diaper is numbered and each person is given a paper and pencil. They smell each diaper and write down what they think the mystery goop is. Some foods to smear in the diapers are softened Hershey chocolate bar, mashed avocado, softened Milky Way bar, Brown gravy, etc. The person with the most correct answers is winner. Another fun game is to have the pregnant lady stand in front of everyone. Each person is to write down how many squares of toilet tissue it would take to go around her tummy. When everyone has written down their answer, the hostess takes a roll of toilet tissue and wraps it around the pregnant lady and announces how many squares it took. Whoever guessed correct number or came closest is winner.
