I used white dove, a very popular white, for my kitchen trim and I think I used super white in my living room and dining rooms. They are all separate rooms so the colors are not seen against each other. I really like the collingwood, but I don't like the super white with the cloud cover. If it were me, I'd pick one white for the trim and the cabinets. Have you considered white dove?Or cloud white?Consider satin for your trim instead of semi-gloss. It gives up the same durable washable surface with less sheen. Also matte finish for the walls, more washable than flat. Flat is ok for ceilings.

@Terri Wilson We did a pretty large order of axstad too. $13,000 which was available over several months. Definitely delayed during a pandemic. I posted my old kitchen and was advised to check out the axstad and after going to several cabinet/ kitchen companies and seeing what we could get it, it was an easy decision. Getting an experienced installer to do the customizing we wanted has been a challenge as well, but we are in the thick of it right now. I think we will love it when it's done. We are also replacing a large upstairs cabinet, 2 built in hutches and a laundry room, several with base cabinets that needed to be cut to fit the proper depth. Good luck with your project.

I know this is an old post and I really don’t have any tips for cleaning grease from the Axstad doors because we haven't moved into our house yet. No cooking has taken place so no grease has accumulated. But I have a tip for keeping them clean. Full disclosure…try this at your own risk. Our white Axstad doors had become dirty just handling them as we are putting the kitchen together. I used a water dampened cotton cloth and rubbed fairly hard to get the clean. Once clean, I waxed them with Minwax paste finishing wax, softened a bit with mineral spirits. I figured, everyone waxes chalk paint, so why not wax these doors? And I figured I could always buy new doors if I ruined them. The nice matte finish barely changed. They still have the matte finish. And they feel nice too. We left one unwaxed as an experiment. You can't tell them apart unless you get very close and know to look for a difference. The unwaxed door is dirty again already, but the waxed ones are perfectly clean. The Minwax wax is very hard, so it's difficult to work with, so that’s why I softened it. I'm too cheap to buy the softer or liquid wax, so if you're not as much a tightwad as me, splurge on the softer wax. I believe you can even get it in white. But even with the Minwax being yellowish, it did not yellow the doors at all. I’m so pleased with the result, I'm thinking of waxing all the surfaces throughout the house. LOL.

Well, it is going to depend on the style of the rest of the house, particularly the dining area but there are so many options. Beadboard, tongue and groove horizontally, herringbone or chevron, shiplap, panelling to mimic wainscoting (you can do this easily with MDF trim), barnboard, tile in a pattern to match your backsplash choice or maybe a larger scale than the backsplash but the same style/design. If you post pictures of your kitchen choices and the dining room, you'll likely get lots of suggestions.
