Don't worry about the difference you're seeing between the trim and the tiles. When looking at the space as a whole, it's not noticeable. Definitely go with contrasting tile. It lends itself more to the farmhouse/boho vibe you're going for. But with the nice butcher block counters, I like the idea to choose a warmer gray grout such as the Oyster Gray posted above. You might also want to choose a more greige color on the walls than the one you're considering, something like Sherwin Williams' Accessible Beige or Behr's Toasty Gray.

You might start with a good pressure washing to unify what looks like some discolored areas. It looks like you're trying charcoal or black already. How is that working? Are you just wanting to paint the door and trim above? I have no idea why you're doing the extended arch. There is enough going on visually already. I'd focus on removing the bedraggled greenery in font of the wall and topping the flat parts there with nice big pots of colorful flowers. No one will notice much else if you do that right. Take your time, gather ideas and don't start any construction yet.

we've decided to side the front of the house with vinyl siding and cedar shake. Going to go with the color "soft willow" just curious what you all thought about the trim. bright white or an off white.. below you can see the new color we are using. After all of the advice here, the shutters will not be going back up and we are replacing all of the windows. After its all said and done we will move on to the landscape.
