to awn or not to awn Tudor cottage style home

We have a home built in 1931 and are currently remodeling. 2 windows still have 40-60s aluminum window awnings. We are wondering if we should put acrylic cloth awnings there or leave bare. It doesn’t seem like many in the neighborhood still have them and I don’t often seen them on Tudor style homes — I dont know if it’s something most homes would have had or they were more common to certain styles? We are more on the side of keeping them but wondered what others have done. What colors should we use for awning if we keep. They were hidden by a giant overgrown shrub previously. I included pic of house now, house before, and a rendering of how the siding will eventually look — that pic is of another side of our house but the siding will be cream stucco panels with dark timbers.
