DeGraandchamps blueberries in South Haven, Mi carried(s) an approx. analysis 19-7-7 slow release Osmocote product that was similarly formulated for slow-release throughout a 6 mo. period. I guess if you drench the soil with a higher concentration it could kill it. These -cote fertilizers don't tend to leach into the water table and are released through biological action, if I'm correct. They are prolly the greenest chems around. I do think they respond well to kelp, though. noogy

1. Have you checked to know you have enough hydraulic oil in the reservoir? 2. Are others getting the full travel and the MFG admit yours should also? 3. If they will not tell you the needed adjustment or fix, is it because of liability? 4. Please post pics or links of side and top views that might show adjustments for the wedge etc. 5. I agree that it needs to pusher closer to the wedge on matted wood as pecan in my case.

A visual check of the fluid reservoir on the side of the unit should be at least 3/4 full while operating . The unit calls for 3 quart capacity .

i would never waste my money on time release ... you can buy a lot of bags of 10-10-10 or 15 .. or 12 cubed.. for all that fancy marketing ... regardless... release of time release.. is temp dependent .. so release is when the pellet is wet enough.. and hits that temp .. and when that is.. an any given garden ... who knows ...maybe someone will know the first general release temps.. and how many hours at said temp ..e tc ... but dont forget .. max day temp.. in our z5 .. can be offset by mights in the 30s and 40s ... a quality soil test.. will tell you how much acid you need for your acid loving plants ... guessing is not the best ... and NEVER fert with time release.. after about mid august.. you need the plants slowing down in sept.. getting ready for winter.. not zoomin on growth.. and not hardening off properly ... ken
