Is this media console going to be too small for TV?
Comments (16)@Salina its unfortunately a very small wall, that’s why we are painting the wall and ceiling the same color, per our color consultant. Ive been looking around but having trouble finding real wood without veneer, made in the USA, over 70 inches but also small enough to be able to fit a small piano to the left side, with doors and shelving, and 3k or under. If you have any suggestions, please let me know! At this point though, I can get a 55” TV instead of the 65” that’s taped up. Its just for the kids and their video games, not for big movie viewing. So hard to find quality furniture nowadays that doesn’t break the bank. 😬 Edit: Everything I read online says 25% larger for console table or 3 inches of overhang on each side. So I was thinking a 74” console would be okay with the 65” TV because the width is actually 57.2” not 65”. My blue tape may be off haha....See MoreDoes anyone recognize this TV stand/media console?
Comments (1)You need to take a better picture from the front because it is impossible to actually tell what the front looks like let alone the wood. In general used furniture is not worth much - or is worth what someone who is in the market for a specific type and style is willing to pay. You will probably find that it is difficult to get more than what you paid for it originally as used furniture and probably might not get as much. When I remodeled I wound up giving away all of the furniture I wasn't going to use because it made no sense to go through the hassle of attempting to sell it....See Moreliving room media console feedback
Comments (3)Totally agree with what jck910 said regarding color. But would add, if there is someone in your family (in my case it is my spouse!) who never seems satisfied with the size of the TV, then you might want to go 50% larger than your current TV....See MoreMedia Console with limited space
Comments (2)I am trying to find a media console that goes with my space. I typically like farmhouse / coastal farmhouse style. This media console from Ballard is too traditional for my space. I considered the Livingston from Pottery Barn but am unsure. On the right side of the tv, the wall juts out, making this space even trickier. I need something 68-70 inches wide. Ideas and suggestions welcome!!! I do not prefer to do built-ins because of cost...See Morekandrewspa
