Living Room/Dining Room Entry Paint Color Ideas
Comments (10)My first question is What is your favorite color? You have excellent neutrals that could work with any color. If you love the cool gray green of Farrow and Ball's french gray I say go for that color. That is a color that can compliment many different colors from the gold warm tan drapes to a fire hot red chair or a deep green alligator. Go with what you like and you will be amazed that it works. If you think the Farrow and Ball French Gray is a little too green based you might consider another FB paint called Light also by FB French Gray FB Light by Farrow and Ball I like mixing cool and warm in different venues for drama. Obviously not all the colors but keeping it simple to two basic hues and working with them is ideal. You have one small wall behind your china cabinet that you could paint in a gold tan to match the drapes but the rest of the walls the Blue gray Farrow and ball you are thinking of would be perfect. Here are some combinations of gray blue and tan that look stunning. Comments (2)Have you considered a pretty white? That would probably look better with beige furniture. BM Swiss Coffee, White Dove and Chantilly Lace are all nice possibilities....See MoreNeed help with living room/dining room paint and decor
Comments (29)Yes, arrangement looks much better!! If you are anxious to paint, you could roll out the Natural Wicker, as you are going to need a primer anyway over that deep paint. Won't hurt to use is as basically a primer. I can't really recommend a paint until you are finished with the room. Your next step will be chairs, lamps, end tables, lamps (I would get a nesting coffee table or oval), art and drapes (which are too short)....See MoreHelp! What color should I paint my living room-dining room?
Comments (4)Since it is all so open, I would paint the same color in the kitchen, dining and living. Maybe the creamy white of your dining chairs would work throughout. If you don't want to paint the kitchen, you could bring that same color into the dining/living. Or you could take another shade from that same color strip/card and bring that into the living/dining. Other improvements: your rugs are too small, and so are your lamps. Your dining light is dated and your art is dissonant and not hung correctly. The coffee table is too large and heavy, and I would match drapes to the wall color once you figure that out. I do like your red cabinet and blue cache-pot! Have you thought about installing drown molding? How high are your walls? Here's a creamy white on walls (Navajo White) and brighter on trim (White Dove) so you can get the idea, even though this is not the style of your home....See MoreDebi Noice
