Thank you @mad_gallica (z5 Eastern NY) It might be the angel of the pics. The center of the shrubs is 2ft away from the wall. This is the variety that is very narrow like 2-3 ft wide. I’m in Kansas btw.

MOBOT says three to four feet wide. That's more in line with what I see in real life.

Typically, you want a clear space behind any shrubs planted along a foundation wall to allow air circulation, light and you to get behind for any maintenance on either the plants or the house. As they are sited now, they will eventually touch the foundation wall and you will experience dieback on the side closest to the wall due to shading and lack of good air circulation. I'd move them forward if you can but now is not the best time. Nor is it a very desirable time for any other plantings either. Closer to fall (September?) would be better.

Typically at least a foot, although that would be a tight squeeze if you needed to get behind them :-)
