Remodeling Design Dilemma Bathrooms

Matching Golds in a Bathroom Remodel

Has anyone had any luck finding golds that match but are not the higher end brands? Remodeling on a budget and gold works best in the space. Aiming for mcm inspired bathroom. I need a shower system, shower drain, tub drain, a wall mount tub filler, and single hole faucets for a small double vanity. I have found some good deals for champagne bronze from Delta-but when I ordered a gold faucet from Amazon and put it next to champagne bronze, the Amazon faucet made the champagne bronze look dull. We don't want polished gold either.

Any luck mix matching brands on Amazon or Home Depot/Lowes and landing on exact matches for all the items listed above?

IMO gold and MCM not really working in my head. Also I need to see the choices you have already made to get some idea of the space If you want matching you need to have all from one maker.

I've had luck mixing brands but not without going to the higher end brands that offer 20 different finish as higher priced custom orders. Also, there isn't much inventory out there right now with covid, high demand and material shortages, so it will be hard to try to bring together a bunch of different elements.

I would stick to one brand. Just know that Delta has shut down some of its production lines right now, so you might not be able to get some items for 4-5 months.

Sorry if this posts twice but my computer just kind of flipped out. I thought I did remember someone posting about changing the finish on faucets or something like that but have not been able to find it. I think your vanity and sinks- lighting and the tile around the vanity is really nice. I hope someone else is able to locate what I think I saw!

Lighting ( sconces) can be an accent . But please limit yourself to TWO metal finishes in the bath. That includes. Lighting, shower / faucets and cabinet hardware, More than that quickly becomes visual confusion

As others have posted, get rid of the toilet seat cover and any other "cute" stuff that makes it seem "grandma" - meaning no disrespect to grandmas who can be stylish. Any towels should be very modern and hotel/spa in feel. Make sure everything is clean clean and more clean. Investing in a professional cleaner for all areas in the house is money well spent. Otherwise leave it as be because remodeling a bathroom for sale is a slippery slope and given that your bathroom tile is lovely and the fixtures look well with it, I doubt very much that a serious prospective buyer is going to reject the home based on it having "gold" fixtures. I just finished a remodel of bathrooms and my bathroom style is completely unlike this bathroom. However, if I were in the market for a new home, I wouldn't pass on a home if the bathroom wasn't the style that was my personal favorite so long as it was clean and met my functional needs in terms of having a comfortable shower; adequate storage (hate hate hate pedestal sinks because no place to put things. Your bathroom is a perfectly find bathroom - attractive to most people even if it's not the height of trendiness - but I think most people don't have bathrooms that are the height of trendiness anyway - after all how often do people actually remodel a bathroom - and if you change the color of fixtures - that starts a chain reaction - it's not the same as painting or putting up wallpaper or even changing the sconces or mirrors.
