how to add brass to a kitchen-mixed with stainless?
Comments (3)My primary concern would be that the champagne bronze faucet and the (cant remember now) color name of the pot filler are two entirely different colors/metal finishes. In my last kitchen, I had flat black (rasped iron) hardware on cream inset cabinets with stainless appliances (range had brass trim) and my tap and pot filler were both uncoated brass. The lights were ORB because that was the lighting scheme for the entire house. The cabinet hardware was black because all the hardware in the house was black. The faucets were just because I love *real* brass and it looked great....See MoreUrgent help! White or stainless refrigerator
Comments (22)Lisa_a I did a reveal 3 years ago in the other garden web forum, not sure how to access so I attached the original photos! We remodeled our entire first floor (and second floor). We live in an Urban two family. We opened all the walls, took down, pretty much a gut. I was pregnant with my 2nd and now I just had my 3rd! wow time flies. Seeing the house so fresh makes me want to deep clean stat and repaint messy little hands!...See MoreRefrigerator rant: "you can have any color, as long as it's stainless"
Comments (29)I did that on the wall between my kitchen and utility room to push the fridge out of the path rom the side entrance into my house, but we were changing cabinets, so it was part of a bigger project. I'm not sre if it would work for just a section, and I'm sure it wouldn't be the easiest option. Which led me to search to see what kind of refrigerator wraps you might find out there. There are places that do custom wraps, but there are also some stock choices out there. Wayfair shows some under the category wall decals. Some are displayed on a fridge, but it looks like you could take any of the vinyl panels and ct them to fit the door of the fridge -- average cost $50. Look at Etsy too (they even have one that looks like the empty fridge interior -- but lots of photos and graphics from blossoms to a stairwell, tunnel or hall or even a box of chocolates -- have some fun). Search for wrap, skins, decal, even saw some under wall mural in door, fridge/refrigerator or wall sizes. You might find a stock option that would either cover stainless doors or make them more appealing to you. If you have a favorite family or vacation photo, you could even have a custom one made. I see a lot of options for $50 give or take a little. Get a scratched door marked down and cover it and you can save more than the cost of the decal/wrap. If you haven't looked, it might be worth a little searching or ideas....See MoreHow to incorporate copper and black pendant lights in white kitchen
Comments (6)Connie Since you have perimeter cabinets are encasing your stainless steel appliances - then I would go with stainless steel hardware. It sounds like you are drawing attention to the black island as a focal point. For the dramatic effect you could use cooper hardware. Here are a few example pictures displaying what it might look like. I would try to incorporate the cooper color with objects in your kitchen. It could be something as simple as a cooper tea kettle on top of your stove or cooper salt and pepper shakers. cooper pendant lighting with white cabinets VILLAGE DUPLEX cooper pendant lighting with white cabinets [yorkshire construction and maintenance[(https://www.houzz.com/photos/yorkshire-construction-and-maintenance-modern-kitchen-phvw-vp~809257)...See MoreTherese N
