Something yellow, 6', full sun
Comments (13)I know you didn't want a sunflower, but Heliopsis Flore Pleno is a bright yellow, long blooming double sunflower but looks like a mum the flowers are so dense. Comments (1)alby - One of the characteristics of Hibiscus is their shallow root system. At 9' tall, you are going to see that plant come out of the ground on a regular basis. As far as transplanting it goes... 1. Cut it back and I'm talking about a severe cutback. Every branch should be cut in half. 2. Dig a new hole somewhere that will afford some protection from the wind, but still give the plant full sun. 3. Dig out as much of the root ball intact as you can. 4. Place it in the new hole and shove a hose underneath to flush out any air bubbles as you backfill. 5. Water it daily for the first two weeks....See MoreMN z4 full sun question
