Mixing Bathroom Light Fixtures with Bathroom Fixtures?
Comments (5)no, it wouldn't I mixed finishes in all my baths..looks pretty natural. I don't even think people notice..they just see bigger picture. Don't mix brushed nickel and polished nickel, or chrome and nickel, these are too close to mix successfuly. ORB is different enough from brushed nickel, and also gives that very neutral feel, it being dark..you should be fine. but you can also cross post your question in Home Decorating forum..there's usually where questions about colors etc. go. Or Bathrooms one..but Home Decorating has more traffic..you 'll get more responces...See Morepulls, mirror, and lighting to match delta Champagne Bronze bathroom
Comments (42)Millennium Lighting in Modern Gold is a perfect match for lighting. Franklin Brass Champagne Bronze pulls is an exact match. Someone recommended (on another thread) the Ivilon shower curtain rod in warm gold and it’s an awful match. The YNL is a little better. Thinking about wallpapering that wall and buying an unframed beveled mirror instead...See MoreLights above bathroom sink or centered with mirrors
Comments (10)In the perfect world I would have them flip the vanities so that both have the drawers on the outside edge and the sinks on the inside edge. That would allow the lighting to be more flattering, beside the face rather than above the face. You still might be able to, having sconces at four points across the wall, at each of the vertical bands between the mirrors. Unfortunately the electrician has probably wired already for the overhead lights. My backup suggestion is for a third overhead light over the middle station, which I think would remedy this unbalanced look. If we could back up six months, I would say think of this before the build starts, but that is very easy for me to say now....See Moresmall bathroom lighting and mirror dilemma
Comments (3)Full wall mirror with over the mirror lighting. A lighting store can guide you on styles that are flattering. Other than maximizing visual space, wall outlets on the left side of vanity will make it necessary for both girls to us for hair appliances, toothbrushes, etc....See Morekristinpmom
