This look like a tough one!

whoa, so much for feeling smart on wednesday. so far i’m pretry sure i have none!

I have 5 that I'm sure of and a couple of guesses. And as usual, completely stuck on the bonus.

I have a guess for B1 that I’m sure isn’t correct but it made me laugh.

I had a guess for D2 immediately, but it's not right. If you all think the same thing as me, I'll declare you winners anyway.

Ooh - these seem a bit tougher than usual.

Can't quite make out A2 - too tiny for me.

Jasdip, I see what you mean for D2. If I know what you’re thinking, either term is correct.

I’ve come back to this twice already and each time I get one more. I still have a few to go, including the bonus!

roxsol, I’m thinking the same as you for B1 I’ll bet. I think I have A2 just now, but I might be wrong. Considering what my answer is, that would be fair, since I don’t really understand how to use my answer.

D2, I see only one answer. You see two? Hmm, now I have to try to find THAT! More challenge!

D1 and D3, and B3, and A1, I have no clue so far. Time for more coffee!

So far no answer for A1, B3, C1 and bonus which I never get.

Wow, these ARE harder than the more recent puzzles.

So far i have a lot of them (I think). Missing a good answer for A2, B1, D1 and the bonus. D1 seems like it whould be easy as the answer wants to jump right out, but its not making sense to me yet. The bonus is kinda that way too. So maybe i have an almost-answer for the bonus.

I think I now have B3, and D1, and just changed my answer for B2 after making the image bigger and clearer.

So, just A1, D3, abd the Bonus to go. Time for afternoon coffee!

I've just now been finally able to access this, Internet has been messed up all day. And not having my Internet is almost as bad as not having coffee! ! ! So not sure I'm in the right frame of mind to be trying to solve puzzles.

Anyway, I think I have all but A1 & 2 (can't make out A2, I can tell it's a staff with notes, but that's all I can tell, it is just too tiny!). Nor do I have B1, D3 or the bonus.

But I'll keep thinking. . . . . . .

Guessing I have the answer to laugh at, but not the right one, for B1. The rest I have answers for with mixed and limited confidence. Esp low confidence with D3.

Okay, since no one is offering any clues for the bonus, and I can’t move my thoughts on it,

my clue is what I see out the rear windows of my home, surrounding the horse pasture. LOL

That can’t be the answer. So, anyone got a clue for the correct answer?

Any hints for A1 and D3 would be welcomed!

Okay, here’s my results.

A1, I never would have gotten 3 point shot!

B1, I had ”floozie” and never would have gotten bad case of the flu. I still don’t get it.

D1, I had letters between friends, as in correspondence. I can’t believe I didn’t see ”secrets” in there!

D3 ”curling up with a good book”? Really? nah, I mean, I guess, but no, that is NOT a good puzzle. It should have something to do with the title, or, gee, nope. I’d toss that one out of the final test score lol. I’m fairly flexible on these every time, but I won’t go for this one at all,

Thank you so much for these puzzles, jasdip. They are so much fun! (So hoping we can visiti DS’s mom in Toronto soon, but DS has US jury duty next week, and after that who know whether Canada will keep the border open, or if DH will be able to come back? Anyway, kudos to the Canada Women’s soccer team!)

Yeah B1 makes zero sense to me too - where's the bad case? Roxsol's take on it seems better, for sure.

And Gone With The Wind doesn't represent a good book to me, either.

I finally got A2. Logarithm is a mathematical term, and i am an engineer, so i should have gotten it sooner, but the music was throwing me off i guess.

I had Back Fences (since there were 2 fens) so I give myself credit for the bonus.

Had no clue about the flu and agree ”spell” would make more sense.

Had raising the roof.

Would have never guessed curling up with a good book. it was a movie! kidding.

No way I'd ever be able to guess A1, no idea what a three point shot might be. Nor did I guess B1, and I agree with others, 'bad spell of the flu' would be a better answer. I couldn't get past books and wind with D3, so never got it, either. For C3, I had 'Up on a housetop', you know, the Christmas song. I did, however. finally get the bonus, thanks to Roxol! And it's one of those that is so blasted simple, (maybe 'clever' would be a better word here) once you know the answer! The rest of them came fairly easy. This puzzle appeared really daunting at first glance. I think maybe the black frame around each segment may have contributed to that? Or maybe I was just already frustrated when I first opened this thread. Whatever.

I love the various difficulty levels, keeps us on our toes! And answers we didn't come up with, make us think about them instead of just nodding "yep, got that one" and moving on. Even if we disagree with them.

I really sucked at this one. I didn't give it much attention though but I still missed quite a few.
