Wrapped in metal? My Price Pfister is. It's going to depend on models. I've seen some Kohler and Grohe that are metal. Also with steel wrapped hose and not plastic. But again it depends on model.

I wanted a faucet that had a faucet head and a sprayer that was easy to use, ergonomic (trigger style was hard for me to use). I got this one; it has the faucet and a separate sprayer, which I like, and they can function at the same time or you can turn off the faucet part and just have the sprayer. You do have to press the sprayer lever to turn it on, it doesn't just come on, so if you turn the faucet part off while the water is still on, the sprayer doesn't automatically spray. I love it, though, (not a huge fan of the style, but the function is awesome) and we like the fact that it's solid metal construction. My husband hates cheap plastic sprayers. I have the smaller bar pull down faucet in my laundry sink and it is perfect. The water flow is great, either a stream or spray. My sink is 21" wide by 15" and 13" deep. A larger faucet would be in the way. My faucet is Delta Leland,
