Believe it or not the aqua would look amazing too. If you like the green idea though, you may want to consider SW Celery. We put SW #6421 Celery in our downstairs .5 bath and it's my favorite color in the whole house. It's sort of in the same family as Honeydew Melon, it's cheerful but not too bright and very up beat. I think it would look amazing with what you've discribed. If you'd like to see an example of what it looks like you can try it on the Sherwin Williams website, there is actually a bathroom picture with a half wall of white tile. Just for fun if you want to see the aqua in action too, try #6750 Waterfall. The monitor may change the color a bit, but it will at least give you an idea. Here's a pic of it in our bathroom right after we painted it. It's such a small room it's hard to see, sorry.

I love Annie's mock-up & the colors are great. My first thought was a white shower curtain until you said you had boys. We have 2 and you don't want white with boys unless you're planning to wash quite often. If you are planning to put a chest in the recessed space, do you really need additional storage around the toilet or the sink? If not, I put extra toilet paper in a basket I bought at Target and it's on the floor, but you could easily put it on the back of the toilet. In our guest bath, I put extra rolled towels on a rack behind the toilet. For the curved shower rod, look at BB&B or Lowes or HD. The main thing is to make sure you mount it far enough out so that you get the full effect of the curve but not so far so that the curtain liner doesn't fit well within the tub. This requires a little 'fitting' of the rod (maybe even putting the curtain/liner on) before attaching to make sure it fits well.

Hi Reesepbc -- My first reaction is that you should steal a variation of your towel color for the walls! That's a nice warm, bright, medium-depth blue that will suit the room and look great with your other elements. Because of the lighting situation, you may need to paint a shade or two lighter than the towel to get something that looks more or less LIKE the towel. But of course you could also go a little lighter overall. ps Don't worry too much about the photos -- beautiful, clean tropical oceans gave many shades of blue and green in it and it all works together.
