Turned the music up, danced and sang.

Had a glass or 2 of wine and then cut their finger.

Skewered their foot with a dropped knife. Ouch!

Got side-tracked and let a pot boil dry.

Got side tracked and over-cooked something.

Realized, when removing a casserole from the oven, that the oven had never been turned on.

Ask me how I know about these things. (But cut me some slack here, I had five boys, and the oldest was only 10 when the youngest was born. Besides that, I'm blond LOL)

I also know someone who caught her sleeve on fire (and didnt realize it), and was proudly carrying in the dish to the Thanksgiving table. Yeah, she was on some valium. Fortunately wasnt burned badly as my DD jumped up and put her out with a dishtowel. It was like a scene from Christmas Vacation.
