What is the most realist. lVP on the market? Looking for medium to medium light wood plank. I don’t know where to start!

Try Coretec's "Blended" line. It comes with a natural bevel that most closely mimics hardwood, IMO. Shaw also makes a version of it in their Pantheon HD+ Natural Bevel line. Also look at Karndean. All of their visuals are pictures of actual wood. As an added bonus, installers love installing Karndean, whether it is a rigid floating floor, looselay, or glue down

James we are looking at Allegiant Walnut that has the integrated bevel. Do you like it? Is the bevel a "crumb catcher?"

For years I have admired the Frontgate slim green spruce and one of these days (maybe an after-Christmas sale) I am going to pull the trigger and buy one, Nothing but good reviews on that one. For artificial Christmas trees with incandescent lights, QVC only carries the Bethlehem lights brand. (which is a very good brand) However, the bottoms of all of their 9' trees always line up to the host's knees. In other words, there is ALOT of space between the floor and the start of the tree. (unless it's Christmas eve, with oodles of presents) that is a huge open space. That is the only reason I have never purchased their trees. Years ago I used to work at a greenhouse that carried some Bethlehem lights trees, I do remember the bottoms of the trees being very high.

When we were shopping for a gas insert 3-4 years ago, we had the good fortune of seeing several systems in operation. We selected a Jotul direct vent insert because we wanted real serious heat, and we're very satisfied with it, although it does not produce really dramatic dazling dancing flames that make you say WOW. But we saw one vented gas insert that in our opinion produced really terrific flames. The brand name is Eiklor. They have a website. If you call their 800 #, you might get old Mr. E himself. Of course he talks up his system as the best thing since sliced bread. Check out the website site. I would caution you about this sytem, based on my own estimation -- it probably uses a whole lot of gas, and most of the heat goes up the chimney. Mr. E will probably take exception to that assessment. I leave it to you to decide. But if your primary objective is a really dramatic flame, and you do not care about the expense of high gas bills and most of the heat going up the chimney, you will probably like this sytem.

you will find that the better the heater, the better they look. I say look at the Avalon products. they also make Lopi and fireplace xtrordinair. I like the Avalon Seattle Space Saver, or Winthrop as they offer a lower BTU alternative to a realistic looking Zero Clearance fireplace. Good luck!

I love the look of the integrated bevel. I sell the flooring but don't have it in my house as it came out after my hard surface flooring was installed. The bevel is personal preference. Some people love the look. Personally the only bevel I would consider is a natural/integrated bevel. Otherwise I prefer it doesn't have one.

I don't believe it to be a crumb catcher. Personally, if there are crumbs on the floor, having them confined to one area isn't such a bad thing :). A bevel isn't going to cause there to be crumbs on the floor, or more crumbs. Maybe some people think they will see the crumbs easier if they are in a bevel?
